Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Account Manager is responsible for the successful management and execution of customer accounts, marketing projects, and ongoing services from planning through delivery and reporting. This role serves as a primary point of contact for assigned customers and is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, coordination internal resources, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring services are delivered accurately, on time, and in alignment with customer objectives.
  • Account & Client Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers, building and maintaining strong, collaborative client relationships.
  • Develop a strong understanding of each customer's business, goals, priorities, marketing strategy, and ongoing service needs.
  • Lead customer meetings and maintain clear communication regarding project status, timelines, priorities, recommendations, risks, challenges, and solutions.
  • Manage customer expectations and proactively address concerns, scope changes, delays, or competing priorities.
  • Provide strategic marketing recommendations and identify opportunities to improve or expand customer initiatives.
  • Navigate challenging customer conversations professionally and work toward solutions that support both customer needs and business objectives.
  • Project & Workflow Management: Manage the full end-to-end process for marketing projects and services, from initial planning and scope through execution, delivery, and reporting.
  • Manage multiple customer accounts, campaigns, projects, and deliverables concurrently while maintaining quality, deadlines, and budget expectations.
  • Coordinate marketing services including, but not limited to: Direct mail; Digital marketing; Social media and social advertising; Email marketing campaigns; Marketing collateral; Website landing pages; Website redesigns; Other print, digital, and creative initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of direct marketing or advertising agency experience in Account Management, Project Management, Marketing Operations, or a comparable client-facing agency role
  • Demonstrated experience managing external client relationships and multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Experience serving as a primary client contact, including leading client meetings, managing expectations, communicating project risks or delays, presenting recommendations, and navigating challenging conversations
  • Experience coordinating multi-channel marketing projects from intake and planning through execution, delivery, and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, changing requirements, and tight deadlines within a fast-paced agency environment
  • Experience developing and managing project timelines, scopes, budgets, resources, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Experience reviewing creative briefs and scopes of work
  • Exposure to a variety of marketing and creative projects across channels such as print, digital, social media, email, direct mail, video, and web
  • Strong written and verbal client-facing communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with project management and workflow technology

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience
  • Prior experience using Monday.com or comparable project management software
  • Experience working across multiple marketing disciplines, channels, or creative services
  • Previous demonstrated success working remotely
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or comparable formal project management training/certification
