Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the U.S. product marketing and growth strategy for low-voltage switchboards, aligning global strategy, business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities to drive order growth, market share, and customer experience.
  • Serve as the commercial interface across customers and cross-functional teams, translating voice-of-customer and field insights into prioritized product requirements, roadmaps, and initiatives based on business value, feasibility, timing, and investment needs.
  • Lead annual marketing, business planning, and go-to-market execution for new products, enhancements, and lifecycle changes, including positioning, messaging, launch readiness, communications, training, documentation, digital tools, and performance improvement plans.
  • Drive sales effectiveness and commercial performance by equipping Sales teams with product and application expertise, technical and commercial training, tools, materials, guidance, and ongoing support to achieve growth targets and budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical products, product management, product marketing, engineering, or sales.
  • Understanding of the US construction and industrial electrical market, including switchboards, engineered power-distribution solutions, electrical distributors, contractors, consultants, and end users.
  • Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions, commercial messaging, training, and sales tools.
  • Strong analytical and business-case development skills, with the ability to use market, financial, operational, and customer data to recommend priorities and actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, pricing, communications, and digital-tool teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Preferred

  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce, Power BI, product configurators, and product lifecycle or roadmap-management tools is preferred.
