Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own foundational positioning for Rovo Studio's core building experience — the "prompt-to-solution" story that connects agent creation, automation, and app building into one narrative.
  • Partner with Product on the foundational prompt experience, ensuring the marketing narrative and product experience reinforce each other.
  • Develop and maintain messaging frameworks that land with enterprise buyers, IT admins, and knowledge-worker "makers" alike.
  • Advance the agentic AI narrative through thought leadership, analyst engagement, and cross-portfolio campaign contributions.
  • Partner with the team to evolve the AI Pitch Deck and analyst briefing materials, ensuring Atlassian's agentic story stays ahead of Salesforce Agentforce, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and emerging competitors.
  • Contribute to marquee content — ebooks, whitepapers, op-eds — that establish Atlassian's POV on enterprise agentic AI.
  • Support analyst report placements (Forrester Waves, Gartner MQs, IDC MarketScapes) with compelling proof points and differentiated positioning.
  • Translate positioning into campaigns that move builders from first-agent creation to enterprise-grade orchestration.
  • Create enablement assets (pitch decks, battlecards, demo scripts) that give sellers confidence to lead with the agentic AI story.
  • Work closely with Technical PMM on technical frameworks, reference architectures, and developer-facing content.
  • Collaborate with Collections PMMs to ensure agent messaging coheres across Jira, Confluence, JSM, and Bitbucket use cases.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of B2B product marketing experience , with significant time on technical platform or developer/IT-persona products.
  • Deep fluency in AI/ML market dynamics — you can articulate the difference between copilots, agents, and autonomous workflows, and you know where the market is headed.
  • Proven ability to build category-level narratives that shift market perception, not just describe features.
  • Enterprise positioning chops — you've crafted messaging that resonates with CIOs, IT leaders, and technical evaluators at scale.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership — you influence product roadmaps, align sales enablement, and drive cohesion across multiple PMM pods without direct authority.
  • Analyst relations experience — you've briefed analysts, shaped report placements, and used competitive intelligence to sharpen positioning.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and speed — the agentic AI space moves fast; you thrive when the playbook is still being written.
