Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a core member of approximately three account teams, completing assignments as directed by account leads and maintaining a close relationship with managers
  • Manage organizational items across accounts including project trackers, monitoring and tracking press coverage, agenda creation for internal and external meetings, updating client press kits and one-sheeters and reports
  • Create prep materials such as research and briefing documents to prepare clients for media opportunities
  • Deliver accurate and timely media monitoring and campaign results reports
  • Leverage a variety of tools including Google Docs Editors suite, Slack, Muck Rack, Qwoted and Canva, to manage media and analyst lists, monitor news coverage, create content and identify earned opportunities
  • Become an expert on our client’s brands and products, and stay up-to-date on industry happenings
  • Be a regular participant by attending internal and client meetings, while actively listening and identifying key takeaways for the team
  • Refine written and verbal communication skills for excellent client relationships

Requirements

  • Completed or working towards a bachelors in Communications, Mass Communications, Journalism, English, or associated degrees
  • Outstanding personal and academic references
  • Creative, energetic personality
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills, proofreading skills
  • Motivated team player and ability to work independently
  • Detail-oriented and consistent ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and think strategically, analyze data and make recommendations, work independently in a remote work environment, and respond well to ongoing client and team feedback
