Job Summary

Own outreach and community-building operations that turn data into action for program reach and advocacy.

  • Partnerships and programs: Plan and lead outreach campaigns and events to raise awareness and mobilize partners.
  • Community networks: Build authentic ties with schools, nonprofits, businesses, and community groups to extend reach.
  • Data-driven storytelling: Analyze outreach data, build dashboards, and translate insights for leadership and funders to guide strategy.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Partner with other teams to shape outreach strategies that bring our mission to life.
  • Build genuine relationships with community organizations, schools, businesses, and other stakeholders.
  • Plan and lead community events, workshops, and meetings that raise awareness of our programs.
  • Organize and execute outreach campaigns, handling logistics, venues, budgets, and volunteer coordination.
  • Team up with our communications team on brochures, newsletters, social media, and website content.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers who power our outreach work.
  • Contribute to advocacy campaigns that mobilize our community and amplify our voice.
  • Go beyond basic data entry: analyze outreach and engagement data to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track outreach performance and program reach.
  • Translate data into clear, compelling insights for leadership, funders, and community partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in statistics or data analysis is a strong plus.
  • Experience in outreach, community engagement, or public relations; nonprofit experience is a plus
  • A genuine passion for our mission and making a positive impact in the community.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.
Nice to have
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Confident with Microsoft Excel, Google Forms/Sheets, and data visualization or reporting tools.
  • Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and active listening.
  • Solid organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.
