Job Description

Responsibilities

Executive Strategy & Planning – Develop and direct marketing strategy, annual plans, priorities and performance targets
Growth & Sales Alignment – Guide qualified lead generation with Sales leadership on opportunities, campaigns and revenue strategies.
Market & Product Strategy – Analyze market and industry trends for opportunities and to launch destinations, trips, ships, lodges and offers.
Brand Leadership – Position AdventureSmith’s market brand, voice and value proposition. Ensure accurate, consistent and compliant communications.
Content Strategy – Direct content strategy across the website and other marketing channels,
SEO & Generative Search – Establish and oversee SEO/GEO strategies.
Website & Conversion Strategy – Guide the website roadmap, development priorities, customer experience and conversion optimization in collaboration with internal teams and technology partners.
Email & Lifecycle Marketing – Oversee marketing automation, campaigns, lead nurturing, re-engagement and past-traveler communications throughout the customer lifecycle.
Public Relations & Creative Direction – Oversee media, advertising, images and video and other brand materials.
Partners, Vendors & Agencies – Develop relationships with operators, partners, agencies, consultants and developers.

Requirements

4 years of marketing experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in developing and directing marketing strategies aligned with company growth, revenue and profitability goals.
Knowledge of SEO/GEO, advertising, email campaigns, public relations and website conversion strategies.
Experience developing a brand voice and customer experience across marketing channels.
Experience managing marketing budgets, technology, agencies and vendors
Exceptional communication, attention to detail, leadership and cross-department collaboration skills.

Preferred

Marketing experience in travel and/or destinations a plus
Experience with Salesforce, Pardot (or similar), WordPress, GA4 and digital advertising tools.
Experience in AI, generative search and emerging technologies a plus.
