Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and creating content for the New York Post’s social media accounts across platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Engage with our vibrant audience by responding to comments, sharing updates, and sparking conversations.
  • Help discover and curate viral content to keep our feeds fresh, fun, and trending.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to highlight breaking news, top stories, and exclusive Post content.
  • Analyze social media performance to help optimize strategies and increase engagement.
  • Gain valuable experience in social media management, content creation, and audience growth.

Requirements

  • Journalism or Media Studies major preferred.
  • A passionate, social media-savvy student or recent grad with a love for all things digital media.
  • A strong communicator with a creative flair who knows how to capture attention with a single post.
  • Someone who’s up to date on social media trends, viral content, and pop culture—especially in the fast-paced world of news.
  • A team player who can collaborate across departments, with a go-getter attitude and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Previous social media experience is a plus, but a genuine passion for digital content and engagement is key.
