Responsibilities

• Represent nonprofit campaigns during community outreach initiatives, events, and public engagement opportunities
• Use communication and marketing strategies to increase awareness of nonprofit programs and community initiatives
• Speak directly with community members about nonprofit missions, goals, and current campaigns
• Support marketing efforts that strengthen nonprofit visibility throughout the Nashville area
• Participate in Nonprofit Communications Associate training focused on communication, leadership, and marketing development
• Collaborate with fellow Nonprofit Communications Associate team members during live outreach and marketing campaigns
• Track engagement activity and campaign performance to support future marketing initiatives
• Contribute ideas that improve communication efforts and overall marketing effectiveness

Requirements

• Interest in communications, marketing, public relations, nonprofit outreach, or community engagement
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Comfortable interacting with new people in community settings
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
• Previous experience in communications, marketing, customer service, fundraising, or public-facing roles is helpful but not required
• Reliable transportation to our Nashville office location daily
