You will own the creation and distribution of content across newsletters and social platforms, track engagement, and support community and podcast promotions.

  • Own content calendars and publishing across Beehiiv, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, X, and Discord
  • Track metrics and optimize based on what performs
  • Collaborate with the founder to align health policy and AI topics

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support production and distribution of The Bandwidth newsletter on Beehiiv, including formatting, scheduling, and performance tracking
  • Draft, schedule, and manage content across LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, and X
  • Help build and moderate a Discord community for engaged readers and listeners
  • Support podcast promotion: clip creation, show notes, cross-platform posting
  • Track engagement metrics across platforms and flag what's working
  • Assist with light graphic/content design for social and newsletter assets
  • Conduct targeted research on health policy and AI trends relevant to our audience
  • Support light project management: tracking content calendars, timelines, and task lists

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in communications, marketing, journalism, public health, public policy, or a related field
  • Comfortable and active across LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, and X; understands what performs on each platform and why they differ
  • Familiarity with Beehiiv or similar email/newsletter platforms a plus
  • Experience with or interest in building/moderating Discord communities
  • Familiarity working with AI tools preferred
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills; comfortable adapting tone across formats
  • Strong research skills and comfort navigating digital tools independently
  • Highly organized, able to work independently, and capable of managing tasks with minimal oversight
  • Interest in health policy or AI a plus but not required
