Job Summary

Own Meta DR for a high spend DTC brand, turning daily performance data into fast decisions and a tight creative brief loop.

  • Own Meta account structure and daily optimization to reliably scale spend while guarding ROAS.
  • Bridge data to creative by briefing on fatigue, angle gaps, and new format opportunities to fuel the in-house team.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the Meta ad account end to end. Daily ad uploads on a clean cadence, structured naming conventions, scaling decisions, kill calls, audience testing, CBO restructuring.
  • Run deep performance analysis daily. You're not glancing at the dashboard. You're pulling hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPM, ROAS, AOV, frequency, top-spender breakdowns, fatigue indicators, and attribution shifts every day — and turning that data into decisions.
  • Diagnose what's working and why, then brief the creative team on what to make next. Creative is produced by an in-house team (founder + two creative strategists + external research). You don't write scripts, but you're the one telling them what the data is asking for: "Hook angle A is fatiguing, we need three variants on angle B. UGC format C is outperforming talking-head by 40% on hold rate — let's double down. We're missing an authority angle in the current mix — brief that next." You're the bridge between what's running and what gets made.
  • Push for angle and format diversity. You know that running 80% of spend through one creative angle is fragility, even when it's working. You proactively map the creative landscape — which angles are saturated, which avatars are underrepresented, which formats (UGC, talking head, mixed-cut, static, advertorial) are missing — and you brief accordingly.
  • Make structural account decisions. Campaign architecture, cost caps vs. bid caps, ABO vs. CBO vs. ASC allocation, audience layering, placement breakouts, zombie campaign cleanup. You have informed opinions on all of this and you've made these calls at this spend level before.
  • Manage scale without bleeding ROAS. You know how to take a $5k/day winner to $10k/day without sending it into the learning phase. You know when to consolidate and when to break out. You know how to read the auction signals that tell you whether you're at the edge of saturation or whether there's room to push harder.
  • Weekly performance reporting. What's scaling, what's dying, what's being tested, what's being briefed back to creative, what structural changes you made and why. Clean, written, sent on a consistent cadence. Not a dashboard screenshot — actual thinking.
  • You're not waiting for someone to tell you what to test. You bring your own scaling strategies, your own thesis on what works in DR, and your own playbook for spotting fatigue before it hurts performance. The founder, creative strategists, and an external research team will hand you the creative pipeline. From there, the account is yours.
