Media Planning Associate

Responsibilities

• Support the development of integrated media plans, including audience strategy, budget allocation, channel mix, and timing
• Use Citi’s first-party data to help define target audiences and improve campaign performance
• Translate campaign objectives into clear planning recommendations with guidance from senior team members
• Partner with Sales and Account teams to support pre-sale planning and client presentations
• Collaborate with Ad Operations, Analytics, and Product to ensure campaigns are feasible and executed correctly
• Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations to improve key metrics (e.g., ROAS, conversion, engagement)
• Help communicate planning approach, performance expectations, and optimization ideas in internal and client discussions
• Contribute to developing and improving planning processes, tools, and templates
• Support test-and-learn initiatives and pilot campaigns to validate capabilities
• Assist in planning for both active campaigns and new business opportunities

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in media planning, advertising, or commerce media
• Experience supporting campaign execution from brief through launch
• Understanding of digital media planning across channels
• Familiarity with concepts such as audience targeting, programmatic, and campaign measurement
• Ability to work with data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Comfort working cross-functionally across teams
• Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience (preferred Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field)
