Job Summary

Drive Seaboard’s recruiting and employer-branding efforts by coordinating events, social content, and stakeholder outreach.

  • Own and coordinate recruiting events, campus and trade-show presence.
  • Must-have: Recruiting experience and ability to create social content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Standout: Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, budgets, and live event execution.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • recognize the culture and value narrative of our organization and creatively and accurately express that picture to new prospects and to our stakeholders in a person, over the phone, and through media in exciting ways
  • prospect for new traders
  • engage and network with prospects, stakeholders on college campuses, attendees at trade shows, media followers, and establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network
  • arrange our presence, set-up, and attend career fairs, on-campus networking events, and trade shows, manage incoming and outgoing communications of same
  • coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure all recruiting and marketing initiatives are executed successfully
  • collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar
  • develop, schedule, and post engaging social media content, create original graphics, photography, and videography and update social media content across all channels
  • monitor and analyze marketing and social media metrics to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • use social media marketing tools to monitor channels and identify industry trends, become knowledgeable of best practices on LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook
  • create written, video, and photo content for digital and print ads

Requirements

  • You must be….
  • gregarious; you’ve never met a stranger
  • experienced at recruiting
  • experienced in creating social media content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter
  • knowledgeable of social media platforms and analytics tools
  • equally comfortable working independently as you are with a team
  • good at graphic design and editing websites or be able to learn how
  • skilled in delivering the spoken and written word
  • a valid, licensed driver
  • joyful in planning events

Preferred

  • were a marketing, digital marketing, communication, or internet marketing major
  • are proficient with Canva, Photoshop, or their equivalent, and Microsoft Office suite
  • have a videography, video creation and editing background, experience with Kapwing is a plus
  • hold experience as a social media content manager, writing ads, or writing content
  • are good at using WordPress
