Marketing and Publicity Manager, Art and Craft

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing and publicity campaigns for art, craft, and design titles across Quarto imprints.
• Pitch books to media outlets, podcasts, broadcast producers, influencers, and reviewers.
• Build relationships with authors, agents, media contacts, and industry partners.
• Write press materials, create media kits, and secure meaningful coverage.
• Lead social media and digital marketing strategies, including paid and organic campaigns.
• Develop Amazon A+ Content and other promotional assets.
• Support academic marketing initiatives and enthusiast communities within key categories.
• Collaborate across Editorial, Publishing, Sales, and Marketing teams to maximize title success.

Requirements

• 3+ years of marketing and publicity experience, preferably in publishing.
• Strong knowledge of the art, craft, and design marketplace.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Creative thinker with a passion for books and storytelling.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Experience with social media marketing, media outreach, and author relations.

Preferred

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Cision, Edelweiss, and Microsoft Office is a plus.
