Drive nonprofit event promotion and social content creation as a Student Marketing Fellow in Dallas.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Instagram and other social media content creation and posting
  • Help develop content ideas for event promotion, sponsor recognition, and community engagement
  • Support creation of flyers, simple graphics, and promotional materials
  • Assist with sponsor-facing materials and outreach support as needed
  • Help maintain a content calendar and posting schedule
  • Capture content during events, meetings, or activations when applicable
  • Provide ad-hoc support on marketing, event logistics, and small problem-solving tasks
  • Assist with tournament promotion leading up to event day

Requirements

  • Freshman or sophomore in college preferred
  • Active on social media, has a good eye for content, and is excited to contribute to a growing nonprofit in a meaningful way
  • Role requires being organized, creative, responsive, and comfortable taking initiative
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, or other social platforms
  • Comfortable using Canva, CapCut, or similar content tools
  • Based in Dallas preferred

Preferred

  • Exceptionally high school seniors with strong social media, design, or content experience are also encouraged to apply
  • Interest in marketing, communications, business, media, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, or other social platforms
  • Comfortable using Canva, CapCut, or similar content tools
  • Organized, dependable, and proactive
  • Interested in nonprofit work, events, branding, and community engagement
