Own and coordinate multi-year marketing plans and cross-functional programs that align product, sales, and partnerships with customer needs, while launching new products in collaboration with product and comms teams.

  • Manage key industry partnerships and influencer relationships to expand reach and credibility.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and manages long-range and annual marketing plans, programs, and strategies.
  • Work cross-divisionally and cross-functionally with other divisions such as corporate accounts, product managers, commercial sales, finance, education and training teams to develop, present and execute both short and long-range business plans.
  • Oversees critical marketing functions to ensure the information and support for programs are effectively delivered.
  • Successfully launch new products in collaboration with product managers and marketing communications teams.
  • Build and manage relationships/agreements with key industry associations and influencers.
  • Conduct research to fully understand the trends, needs, challenges and issues facing assigned customer groups

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline or MBA with 2+ years marketing experience (Marketing Manager I) or Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related or MBA with 3+ years of marketing experience (Marketing Manager II)
  • 5 years of Marketing or related experience (Marketing Manager I) or 7 years of marketing experience minimum (Marketing Manager II)
  • Proficient and mastering specific skills to specialty or area of focus including: Branding | Marketing Analytics | Marketing Management | Marketing Operations | Marketing Planning | Marketing Strategy | Project Management | Resource Planning | Vendor Management | Strategy Implementation | Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, influencing ability, and effective participation in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong relationship building skills with key industry entities, sales and channel.
  • Superior analytical skills
  • Strong database skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Works on complex issues where analysis requires advanced marketing skills and in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Successful track record in marketing management
  • Experienced in developing strategic plans, conducting voice of customer research, managing customer relationships, and developing marketing launch plans
  • Proven aptitude for mining data to develop business insights
  • Recognized as SME in many areas of marketing
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues.
  • Viewed as project leader and consultant.
  • Takes on additional stretch project assignments.
  • Travel up to 15-25% of total time
