Job Description

TL;DR: We're looking for a sharp, creative marketer who leads with writing and thinks in outcomes. This role owns the content and executional engine behind Workbar's marketing. You'll have real ownership and creative latitude, building alongside a team that's already in motion.

About the Role: Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager, the Marketing Manager owns demand generation, content, and social. This is a role for a creative thinker who executes quickly, works in close partnership with the team, and helps build a tighter, faster marketing system that produces measurable results and moves people from awareness to action.

What You'll Own

Content, Brand & Social

  • Own Workbar's content engine and social presence across LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, and Reddit
  • Plan, write, and publish content on a consistent cadence that drives awareness, engagement, and inbound leads
  • Optimize content for search and AI discovery, with a working understanding of SEO and AEO best practices
  • Manage the content calendar in alignment with monthly themes, campaigns, and key business moments
  • Produce content that supports Workbar’s growth such as, newsletters, blogs, case studies, and member stories
  • Coordinate podcast guests and own post-production content
  • Monitor performance and use insights to sharpen content and campaign strategy over time

Demand Generation & Sales Enablement

  • Plan and execute campaigns that drive qualified leads and tours across all Workbar products
  • Own campaigns from concept through launch: landing pages, email, copy, and follow-through
  • Build and manage email programs and nurture sequences
  • Support new location openings with focused campaigns that build early awareness and pipeline
  • Partner with the sales team to ensure marketing supports conversion at every stage of the funnel
  • Develop materials that help close deals: positioning, case studies, follow-up content, and outreach templates
  • Equip Community Managers with repeatable playbooks for local outreach and in-space activation

Local Marketing, Events & Partnerships

  • Plan and execute targeted events designed to generate tours and qualified opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with local partners such as VCs, accelerators, schools, and business organizations
  • Strengthen Workbar's presence in each submarket to drive local demand
  • Own Google Business Profile content across all locations
  • Support brand visibility during key growth moments like new location openings

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience in marketing (B2B, startup, coworking, or related industries preferred)
  • Proven experience executing campaigns that drive leads and pipeline
  • Strong content and writing skills across multiple formats
  • Experience with email marketing and basic marketing automation
  • Experience leveraging HubSpot and analytics tools to inform content strategy and performance measurement (Salesforce familiarity is bonus) 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $95,000
  • OTE: $110,000
  • Bonus: Performance-based bonus tied to lead generation and campaign impact
