Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated marketing plans and campaigns that support the Bank’s strategic priorities and business objectives.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development for Marketing team members, including workload prioritization and performance feedback.
• Partner with business leaders to translate business needs into clear marketing strategies and deliverables.
• Oversee campaigns across digital, print, email, social media, advertising, sponsorship, and other relevant channels.
• Maintain consistent use of the Bangor Savings Bank brand across communications, campaigns, customer experiences, and third-party materials.
• Manage marketing projects, timelines, approvals, agencies, media partners, and vendors.
• Partner with the Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing and Public Relations Officer on the Marketing budget, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements.
• Evaluate market trends, customer insights, competitive activity, and emerging channels.
• Support internal and external communications, public relations, community engagement, and incident-response initiatives in coordination with the Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing and Public Relations Officer and other appropriate partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Advanced degree preferred.
• Five or more years of progressively responsible marketing experience, including experience leading employees, projects, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Financial services, banking, or other regulated-industry experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Strong people-leadership skills, including coaching, delegation, feedback, and employee development.
• Proven project-management experience managing multiple priorities, contributors, deadlines, and approvals.
• Experience managing agencies, media partners, vendors, budgets, and contracts.
• Strong writing, editing, verbal communication, presentation, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Interpret performance information and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Excellent client service skills.
