Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
• Develop short-form videos, Reels, photos, graphics, and written social content
• Maintain a consistent social media content calendar
• Capture content featuring our team, office, customers, and community involvement
• Monitor engagement and help grow our social media audience
• Identify content ideas, trends, and local marketing opportunities
• Help plan and promote community events, sponsorships, and partnerships
• Attend occasional local events in Bayonne and Staten Island
• Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations
• Track basic social media performance and marketing results

Requirements

• Experience with social media, marketing, content creation, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and short-form video content
• Creative eye for engaging photos, videos, graphics, and copy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and able to manage projects independently
• Comfortable appearing in or helping direct social media content
• Familiarity with basic photo/video editing tools is a plus
• Able to occasionally attend local events, including some evenings or weekends

Preferred

• Experience with local events and partnerships is a plus
