Marketing Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Onboarding & Orientation: Lead cohort onboarding, facilitate tool setup (Slack, Google Workspace, task trackers), and deliver foundational training on marketing workflows and brand guidelines.
• 1:1 Coaching & Mentorship: Conduct regular 1:1 check-ins with all interns to track progress, deliver constructive feedback, address challenges, and support early-career skill development.
• Day-to-Day People Management: Serve as the first point of contact for daily questions, assign tasks, track attendance, and ensure student engagement remains high throughout the program.
• Event Organization & Ideation: Spearhead new marketing event initiatives and activations. Encourage and guide interns in brainstorming, planning, and executing creative events that align with our brand goals.
• Campaign & Project Oversight: Monitor intern deliverables across creative asset creation, social media strategy, and market research projects to ensure alignment with team deadlines.
• Program Tracking: Maintain cohort performance records, track engagement metrics, and share regular program updates with senior marketing leadership.

Requirements

• Schedule Alignment: Full availability during West Coast business hours (-Pacific Standard Time).
• Experience: 0–2 years of experience in program coordination, project management, team leadership, or marketing; recent graduates are welcome.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with a natural ability to connect with, motivate, and mentor young talent.
• Organization: Outstanding time-management skills to efficiently balance 1:1 meetings, event planning, and daily task tracking for 15 direct reports.
• Marketing basics: Foundational knowledge of social media platforms, content creation trends, digital marketing principles, and a passion for event coordination.

Preferred

• Prior background in youth leadership, peer mentoring, campus ambassador programs, or teaching/tutoring.
• Previous experience or strong interest in event planning, recruitment, or community building.
• Familiarity with collaborative tools like Slack, Airtable, and HubSpot.
