Responsibilities

• Maximum of 20 hours/week
• Collateral, brochure and program distribution
• Make/maintain contact with local businesses, advertisers etc.
• Administrative support and digital data maintenance
• Assist onsite at events (check in, greeting guests, production, etc.)
• Assist with special digital projects
• Assist with sponsor/gift bag creation and organization
• Assist with maintaining marketing closet organization
• Create and maintain a calendar of community events (store openings, charities, conferences, fairs, festivals, premiers, etc.) to be submitted to Marketing Director
• Be a positive ambassador for Gulfshore Life Media at all times when in public.

Requirements

• Strong awareness and presence in Southwest Florida social, restaurant, hospitality and charity scene.
• Ability to network and build relationships
• Attention to detail
• Ability to create and maintain positive and professional relationships with the team
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Creativity and ability to “think outside of the box” with events, promotions, marketing materials, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Available to attend/work events on nights and weekends
• Ability to work well with other departments
