Marketing Intern

Responsibilities

• Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, promotions, and local marketing initiatives.
• Assist with social media planning, trend research, captions, short-form content, and approved asset organization.
• Support Local Store Marketing programs, community events, fundraising activities, and franchise marketing communications.
• Assist with website, mobile app, loyalty, email, eCommerce, and other digital promotional initiatives.
• Research competitors, consumer trends, community partnerships, influencers, and emerging marketing opportunities.
• Maintain campaign timelines, content calendars, project trackers, contact lists, and recap materials.
• Collect and organize basic marketing performance data, including engagement, clicks, conversions, loyalty activity, and redemptions.
• Proofread and quality-check marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, working links, current offers, and brand alignment.
• Use approved AI tools for research, brainstorming, first-draft copy, content repurposing, and presentation development; all AI-generated content requires manager review before publication.

Requirements

• Interest in building a career in marketing, communications, digital media, business, or a related field.
• Strong organization, written communication, proofreading, and time-management skills.
• Comfort working with social media, digital tools, spreadsheets, presentations, and basic performance data.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Curiosity about consumer behavior, restaurant and retail trends, eCommerce, loyalty, and emerging marketing technology.
• Interest in learning responsible, practical uses of AI in modern marketing.
• Regular computer and office work with the ability to communicate, collaborate, and participate in meetings throughout the workday.
