Job Summary

Own and coordinate marketing for a community theatre, focusing on social media growth, content creation, and outreach to boost attendance, memberships, and partnerships.

Social media & audience growth: manage posts, engagement, and platform presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
Content & promotions: assist with graphics, photos/videos, promotional materials, and event promotion for productions, auditions, and programs.
Community outreach & partnerships: cultivate local partnerships, sponsorship outreach, and audience communications to drive ticket sales and community involvement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Managing and growing the theatre’s social media presence
Assist with creating promotional graphics, flyers, and marketing materials
Assisting with advertising campaigns and sponsorship outreach
Coordinating email marketing and audience communications
Promoting upcoming productions, events, auditions, and special programs
Taking photos/ videos and helping create engaging content
Assisting with community outreach and partnership opportunities
Helping increase ticket sales, memberships, sponsorships, and community engagement

Requirements

Strong communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other marketing platforms
Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas

Preferred

Experience with marketing, advertising, social media, or public relations (preferred)
Photography, video, or graphic design experience is a plus
A passion for theatre, the arts, and community involvement is strongly encouraged
