Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with writers, editors, content creators, podcasters, and other media contacts.
• Respond to media inquiries and coordinate product requests, including shipment details, deadlines, follow-up, and returns when applicable.
• Process and track approved product, sample, literature, and promotional-material requests for writers, media partners, events, and other marketing needs. Coordinate fulfillment with the appropriate internal teams and confirm delivery.
• Help coordinate communications with writers, editors, bloggers, podcasters, and other content providers by scheduling meetings, gathering requested materials, and tracking deadlines.
• Deliver clear, engaging on-camera interviews, product reviews, demonstrations, and educational content.
• Coordinate event details such as travel, schedules, registrations, materials, shipments, all logistical requirements and follow-up; provide on-site support when needed.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% is required.
• Attendance and support at trade shows and industry events, including international events, may be expected.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing several requests at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.

Preferred

• Experience in marketing, communications, public relations, order coordination, or event support is preferred.
• A degree in communications, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience) is preferred.
• Familiarity with firearms, reloading, hunting, shooting sports, and Hornady products is helpful but not required.
