Job Summary

Own and evolve data models and dashboards to drive marketing analytics, AI agent governance, and reliable KPI reporting across Snowflake and Power BI.

  • Own data models and semantic layers in Snowflake and dbt
  • Govern AI agent outputs and define what can be answered automatically
  • Build self-service dashboards and metrics

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and extend marketing data models in Snowflake, ensuring consistent, well-documented definitions for lifecycle, attribution, and account-level fields
  • Work within an established layered dbt project, following existing conventions for model structure, testing, documentation, and code review
  • Build and maintain self-service dashboards and semantic models in Power BI and Snowflake Intelligence/Cortex
  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues at the model level to prevent recurring downstream problems
  • Support the KPI and scorecard framework, keeping metric definitions consistent across funnel, attribution, and ROI reporting
  • Review marketing AI agent outputs against source data, flagging accuracy and hallucination risk before insights reach stakeholders
  • Define and document what AI agents can answer autonomously versus what requires analyst review, including escalation paths
  • Partner with Marketing Technology & Automation to assess how platform changes affect downstream models and agent accuracy
  • Translate stakeholder reporting and forecasting needs into durable, self-service-ready data structures

Requirements

  • At least 4 years in data/BI, marketing analytics, or analytics engineering with hands-on ownership of data models or metric definitions
  • Advanced SQL and experience building reusable data models in Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Experience extending an existing modular transformation codebase (dbt or comparable)
  • Working understanding of B2B marketing data — campaign metadata, lead lifecycle, attribution, CRM outcomes, and funnel conversion
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards (Power BI preferred)
  • Comfort evaluating AI/LLM-generated output against source data
  • Strong diagnostic and critical thinking skills; ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred

  • Python for data transformation, validation, and automation
  • Familiarity with dbt, version control, CI/CD, and orchestration tooling (Airflow or comparable)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and marketing automation platforms (Marketo or comparable)
  • Experience with semantic layers, data catalogs, or AI-readable metadata frameworks
