Role Description The Managing Director role is a full-time remote position responsible for leading POLOTNO’s strategic, operational, and commercial activities. The person in this role will develop and execute business strategies, oversee financial performance, and drive growth in existing and new markets. Daily responsibilities include supervising project pipelines, ensuring high-quality delivery of visualization services, and optimizing internal processes and resource allocation. The Managing Director will lead and mentor a distributed team, foster a collaborative and inclusive culture, and ensure efficient communication between production, sales, and clients. This role will also involve building and maintaining key client relationships, identifying partnership opportunities, and representing the studio in industry networks and online channels.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and management skills, including team leadership, performance management, and experience guiding cross-functional remote teams.
• Strong strategic planning, business development, and operational management capabilities, ideally in creative, design, or visualization-related industries.
• Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and experience managing P&L or similar business metrics.
• Excellent client relationship management, stakeholder communication, and negotiation skills, with a focus on long-term partnerships.
• Familiarity with 3D visualization, architectural rendering workflows, or related creative production environments (e.g., 3D rendering pipelines, animation, VR/AR) is highly advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects, and make data-informed decisions in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfort working in a fully remote environment, with proficiency in digital collaboration tools and clear written and verbal communication in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Architecture, Design, or a related field; an advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
