Job Description
Responsibilities
- Build, lead and mentor a high-performing engaged marketing team to support the business unit’s objectives
- Develop annual performance goals, metrics and incentives; track performance metrics and conducts annual performance reviews
- Report on team performance against objectives
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies and cross-channel communication in support of SME’s business units
- Represent the marketing team within cross-functional groups including senior leadership, product/event management, business development, sales and customer service
- Update senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of significant initiatives/campaigns
- Lead research efforts for insights into the viability and application of new marketing strategies
- Analyze data to evaluate the success of marketing efforts and come up with new ideas to improve awareness and exposure within the manufacturing industry
- Identify opportunities for applying new technologies, products and services to both offline and online channels
- Brainstorm new, creative ideas for campaigns and business growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in marketing, communication, or business preferred.
- At least seven (7) years of marketing experience
- Minimum three (3) years experience building and leading high-performing teams
- Solid experience developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive business growth
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to foster relationships with internal clients
- Solid writing and editing skills
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively
- Solid understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
- Budget-management skills and proficiency
