Job Summary

Own the online voice for a foundation by turning brand guidelines into daily social content and story-led posts across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram while coordinating with the communications team to promote programs and events.

  • Growth/Content Ownership: Develop and execute social strategies, schedule posts, and monitor performance to boost engagement and reach.
  • Brand Alignment: Create visuals and copy that stay on brand and meet platform requirements for each channel.
  • Tools & Collaboration: Leverage Sprout Social, Meltwater, Constant Contact, and Salesforce to manage content and analytics while aligning with editorial style.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own social strategy and day‑to‑day posting to promote programs, events, and Foundation storytelling.
  • Maintain brand consistency by creating visuals and copy that follow the editorial style guide and platform requirements.
  • Track performance across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram to optimize engagement and reach using tools like Sprout Social, Meltwater, Constant Contact, and Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree required, preferably in communications, public relations, journalism, graphic design, or marketing; 3-5 years experience strongly preferred.
  • Generally 6 – 8 years experience may substitute for educational requirements.
  • Graphic design experience required.
  • Video editing experience is desired.
  • Prior experience in a non-profit or foundation environment is desired.
  • Prior experience in the food and agriculture sector is desired.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders including donors, government officials, agency leaders, experts, and dignitaries.
  • Experience in guest/customer services at a cultural attraction or corporate setting.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure with a customer-service mindset.
