Responsibilities

• Lead media relations, PR strategy, and storytelling initiatives
• Serve as the museum’s primary media contact and spokesperson, shaping how our story is told locally and nationally while advising senior leadership on messaging and reputational strategy
• Build strong relationships with media and community partners
• Lead crisis communications and support high-profile initiatives
• Oversee media events and external engagement opportunities

Requirements

• 7+ years in media relations, public relations, or communications
• Proven success developing communications strategies and securing media coverage
• Strong writing, storytelling, and relationship-building skills
• Experience working with senior leaders and managing high-visibility communications
