Here's a Summary Of Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Director, Brand, Identity & Look, the Manager, Brand Operations will build and lead the operational framework that powers the Brand team. Serving as the operational backbone of the department, this role is responsible for designing and implementing the team's processes, governance model, workflows, planning systems, and project management practices.
Acting as the central hub across Brand, Marketing, Digital, Consumer Products, Partnerships, Communications, Events, Legal, and external agencies, this individual will establish clear ways of working, drive alignment across stakeholders, and ensure projects move efficiently from intake through delivery. They will continuously improve how the Brand team operates—creating structure, visibility, accountability, and consistency across an increasingly complex portfolio of work.
Success in this role is measured not only by delivering projects on time, but by building an operating system that enables the Brand team to work smarter, collaborate more effectively, and scale its impact across Team USA.
Here’s How You’ll Have An Impact
Brand Operations & Process Governance
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve the Brand team's operational framework.
  • Develop standardized workflows for project intake, prioritization, planning, approvals, reviews, delivery, and archival.
  • Establish governance for how work moves through the Brand team.
  • Build operational documentation, templates, playbooks, and SOPs.
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure project health, capacity, and process adoption.
  • Identify workflow improvements and eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Champion project management tools and operational best practices.
Project & Portfolio Management
  • Lead intake, prioritization, planning, and execution across Brand initiatives.
  • Build project plans, workback schedules, and resource forecasts.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of concurrent initiatives.
  • Monitor project health, identify risks, and recommend solutions.
  • Facilitate milestone reviews and stakeholder communications.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with Marketing, Digital, Consumer Products, Partnerships, Communications, Events, Legal, and agencies.
  • Provide visibility into priorities, timelines, dependencies, and resources.
  • Build trusted relationships and foster accountability and collaboration.
  • Continuously refine team operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of experience in creative operations, brand operations, or project management.
  • Experience building scalable operational processes and workflows.
  • Strong understanding of creative development processes.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Asana, Smartsheet, Workfront, Monday.com, Wrike, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and Microsoft 365.
  • Systems thinker who creates scalable operational solutions.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Passionate about enabling great creative work through operational excellence.

Here's Some More Information You Need To Know
  • Hiring pay range $85,000 - $88,000 per year.
  • This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
  • Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 15% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
