Job Summary

Social content and events ownership: build a campus social engine, plan and publish content, cover events, and track engagement with partners across departments.

Social Content & Calendar: plan, create, schedule, and post across channels with a timely calendar.
Events & Coverage: attend and cover LU Shepherd events including after hours media capture.
Collaboration & Ops: work with Operations to shape the digital marketing plan and measure outcomes.

Job Description

Create content and manage LU Shepherd social media platforms including planning, developing, scheduling, and posting innovative and engaging content aligned with brand standards.
Be available outside of normal office hours to attend, promote, and cover events for LU Shepherd including, but not limited to, taking pictures and videos.
Work with Director of Operations and Administrative Assistant to create a digital marketing plan and social media strategy for LU Shepherd.
Create and maintain a social media calendar to ensure content delivery in a timely manner.
Collaborate and assist with social media needs within the team and/or various departments.
Assist Administrative Assistant with various office tasks and other administrative duties.
Understand and utilize the social media software's Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
As directed, assist with logistic planning and preparation and execution of LU Shepherd events.
Assist the with tracking engagement metrics for digital campaigns and reporting outcomes .
Schedule requires student worker to commit 18-20 hours/week.

Current on all CSER credits
Microsoft Office knowledge and experience
