Job Summary

Coordinate government proposal workflows and RFPs while tying marketing, admin, and technical teams to win bids.

  • Proposal and RFP Ownership: own preparation, review, and deadline tracking across proposals, expressions of interest, and presentations.
  • Data and Templates: maintain marketing databases and project resume templates to accelerate submissions and updates.
  • Opportunity Sourcing and Collaboration: research publications for opportunities and build cross-office relationships with staff and vendors.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, prepare, and review standard government form proposals, expressions of interest, technical proposals, and presentations.
  • Review RFP for proposal submission requirements to ensure all deadlines are met and proposal package is complete
  • Complete data entry for Marketing databases, tracking leads go/no go, and wins or losses.
  • Creation/maintenance of resume and project profile templates
  • Work closely and interact with technical staff, administrative staff, and marketing staff in other offices, as well as outside vendors, subconsultants, and clients.
  • Administrative duties related to marketing such as filing, data input, etc.
  • Research websites, newspapers, magazines and other business publications in search of project opportunities for professional services.
  • Establish & maintain positive relationships with co-workers, support and build others on the team and across disciplines/offices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in marketing, prior industry experience in civil engineering, architecture, or planning a plus
  • Skilled with using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MS Teams, Adobe InDesign and Acrobat, and other communications-related software programs. Familiar with CRM.
  • Knowledge of the RFP structure and proposal process
  • Previous A/E/C experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with NJ transportation agencies
