Job Description

About the Role

MGA Entertainment — the creative force behind L.O.L. Surprise!™, Bratz®, Little Tikes®, Rainbow High™, BABY born®, and more — is looking for an Internal Communications Manager to lead the strategy, storytelling, and channels that keep our global teams informed, engaged, and connected.

Reporting to the SVP of HR, you'll be the voice behind company-wide announcements, executive messaging, culture initiatives, and the moments that make MGA feel like one team — from Los Angeles to our offices around the world.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for a communicator who can translate complexity into clarity, build trust with senior leaders, and bring creativity to everything from a town hall script to an intranet refresh.

What You'll Do

  • Own the strategy. Partner with the SVP of HR and business leaders to build and execute MGA's internal communications roadmap.
  • Tell the company's story. Write and manage announcements, HR updates, newsletters, FAQs, talking points, and leadership messaging that people actually want to read.
  • Advise senior leadership. Serve as a trusted partner to HR on how to communicate organizational change, new policies, and sensitive topics with clarity and care.
  • Power the big moments. Draft and produce executive communications for town halls, global all-hands meetings, and leadership videos.
  • Run the channels. Oversee the intranet, digital screens, and company-wide platforms to keep content fresh, consistent, and on-brand.
  • Build culture. Collaborate with HR on engagement programs, recognition initiatives, onboarding, and internal events that bring MGA's values to life.
  • Measure what matters. Track communication effectiveness and continuously sharpen the strategy for greater reach and impact.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, HR, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years in internal communications, employee engagement, HR communications, or corporate communications.
  • A portfolio of exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling — you can turn complex, sensitive, or technical information into content people connect with.
  • Hands-on experience managing intranets, newsletters, company-wide announcements, and town halls.
  • Strong project management skills and a track record of working cross-functionally with HR, executives, and teams at every level.
  • Sound judgment and discretion with confidential and HR-sensitive information.
  • The influence to drive alignment without formal authority.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, get-it-done mindset — you're equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up your sleeves.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, creative, or consumer-facing industry is a plus.
