Intern, Marketing (Smartpress)

Responsibilities

• work in various areas of Digital Marketing, including search engine marketing, social media advertising, YouTube, Reddit, third party review sites, affiliate programs, and more
• run promotional campaigns, automated/triggered campaigns, audience segmentation (Email Marketing).
• create content through social media; Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Pinterest, TikTok, influencer partnerships. (Social Media).
• work on product launches, competitor analysis, campaign generation, image standards, and marketing collateral (Product Marketing).
• create product, category, how-to, campaign or channel-specific videos to leverage for SEM, social, Youtube and website (Video Content).
• write content and keyword research for blogs, support articles, press releases, etc. (Product Marketing).
• work with local and national events and trade shows, charitable partners (Sponsorships).
• explore new opportunities for event, social, digital and experiential marketing and advertising.
• other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• are currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or a related field
• have experience with a Mac
• exhibit excellent verbal and written communication.
• demonstrate initiative, a willingness to learn and effective problem-solving skills.
• have the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time, while remaining calm under pressure.
• have a high degree of personal integrity and the ability to manage sensitive or confidential information.
• be articulate, personable and professional in all forms of communication.
