Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Open and run the Los Angeles office, from first day to steady state, and own its P&L and budget
  • Drive business development across the North American territory, local and global: build the pipeline, open doors with publishers, and lead pitches through to signature
  • Take ownership of US-first RFPs and inbound briefs, and contribute to global RFPs where the US is a significant share
  • Act as bump.'s senior point of contact for US publishers, at marketing leadership level
  • Build and lead the local team, starting with a Country Specialist and a Project Manager, and grow it as the business allows
  • Build the local partner ecosystem: production companies, event suppliers, talent agencies
  • Represent bump. at US industry events and in the creator community
  • Own the US revenue targets and report on performance to the Global MD
  • Work in close cooperation with the Paris team, and coordinate with our teams in Europe and Asia on global campaigns

Requirements

  • Significant experience in influencer / creator marketing, gaming, or entertainment marketing on the US market, with a genuine network on the publisher side
  • Proven business development track record: you have opened accounts, not just managed them
  • Comfortable operating at senior client level, and able to hold a strategic conversation with a VP of marketing rather than only a campaign conversation
  • Strong knowledge of the video gaming industry and its creator ecosystem, including agencies and talent management
  • Experience building or leading a small team, and genuine appetite for building rather than inheriting
  • Able to work autonomously as the senior person on the ground, while staying tightly connected to a Paris-based central team
  • Very organised, with excellent prioritisation and time-management skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple campaigns and pitches in parallel, and reacting quickly to fast-moving briefs
  • Creative, think-out-of-the-box mindset
  • Able to coordinate across US and European time zones

Benefits

  • Medical, dental and vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan
  • Paid time off and US public holidays
  • The opportunity to open and shape a market for an agency that is already established internationally, rather than starting from nothing
  • Direct reporting line to the Global Managing Director, with real autonomy on the US market
  • Competitive base salary with a significant performance-based variable tied to business you bring in
  • A team built by creators, working with the biggest publishers in the industry
