Growth Manager/ Director

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Co-CEOs, you’ll help set up and oversee RRC's business development, marketing and growth initiatives. You’ll turn a strong reputation among regulators and insurers into steady, measurable growth across every practice.
• Build and manage a pipeline across state insurance departments, insurers, HMOs and referral partners.
• Prospect new regulator and carrier relationships and track contract renewals.
• Own the proposal process for RFPs, with a current library of qualifications and case studies.
• Run weekly pipeline reviews with the Co-CEOs and practice leaders.
• Build relationships with prospects and referral partners across the pension, captive management and self-funded insurance ecosystems.
• Equip partners with pitch decks, account plans and cross-sell plays across RRC's practices.
• Set up referral and co-selling arrangements, and track partner-sourced pipeline.
• Support acquisition announcements and bring acquired firms onto the RRC brand.
• Work with our private equity operating partners to set up RRC's go-to-market functions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of B2B business development, marketing or growth leadership, ideally in professional services. Title (Manager or Director) will be based on experience.
• Experience in insurance, actuarial, accounting, consulting or financial services.
• A record of building pipeline and winning complex, relationship-driven work.
• Strong writing and presenting skills. You can explain technical regulatory and actuarial work in plain language.
• Hands-on CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce) and marketing automation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.

Preferred

• Contacts across state insurance departments, the NAIC, SOFE, IRES or insurers, or in the pension, captive and self-funded markets.
• Experience with government RFPs and public-sector procurement.
• Experience at a PE-backed, founder-led or newly independent firm.
• Website (WordPress/Webflow), design (Canva/Adobe) and LinkedIn campaign skills.
• Comfort with AI tools, including Claude.
