Job Summary

Own and lead a growing AI-enabled product marketing team and the segment strategy, aligning cross-functional work across IAS and client products, grounded in data, competitive insight, and strong execution.

  • Lead a four-person PMM team and set the standard for craft and outcomes
  • Own the segment strategy package and integrated product-wide go-to-market plans
  • Coordinate strategies across IAS and client products to a single, coherent GTM

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the team
  • - Lead, coach, and develop a team of four product marketers; set the bar for craft, prioritization, and outcomes.
  • - Act as team leader, strategist, and operator, equally comfortable setting direction and rolling up your sleeves on the work.
  • Work and lead AI-native
  • - Use AI as a genuine force multiplier in the craft of product marketing: compressing research and competitive synthesis, pressure-testing positioning, generating and iterating on messaging and content, and modeling customer segments, so the team operates at a higher altitude than headcount alone would allow.
  • - Build and run an AI-native team: set the norms, tooling, and workflows so that using AI to do better work faster is the default, not the exception, and recruit and develop marketers who think this way.
  • - Bring an insider's fluency in what AI is doing to the accounting profession, the same shift IAS is built for, so our positioning reflects how firms actually adopt and govern AI rather than a surface-level pitch.
  • Own the segment Strategy Package
  • - Own the complete, current, channel-ready PMM Strategy Package for the segment: ICP and segmentation (who we target, who we don't, and why), the market and competitive landscape, the positioning document and value proposition, and the messaging framework that channel teams write from.
  • - Build the accountant-facing positioning for our client products (QuickBooks Online, Money, Intuit Enterprise Suite), not just the client-facing story, so firms understand what our portfolio does for their practice, not only their clients.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience; MBA a plus.
  • 10+ years in marketing or product marketing, including go-to-market leadership, with experience managing and developing a team.
  • Full-stack product marketer who translates market, product, and customer insight into positioning, messaging, and go-to-market that ships.
  • A full-stack, inbound-and-outbound product marketer: rigorous on the research and analysis that shapes strategy, and creative on translating it into positioning, messaging, and go-to-market direction channel teams execute from.
  • Demonstrated fluency using AI to do real work, not curiosity about AI but a track record of using it to raise the quality and speed of marketing output, and building teams that do the same.
  • Excellent storytelling and executive communication, with the ability to align diverse teams and senior leaders around a shared narrative.
  • Track record of principled, data-based decisions and ownership of measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong cross-functional influence without direct authority, comfortable with ambiguity and fast movement.
  • Familiarity with accounting or tax software, B2B SaaS, ERP or financial management, or the accountant and partner channel a plus.
