Job Summary

Support sponsorships, promotions, and fundraising for NNU Athletics as a Graduate Assistant in Marketing & Development.

  • Assist with cultivation, solicitation, and management of corporate sponsorships.
  • Must-have: Bachelor’s degree and acceptance into NNU Graduate School.
  • Collaborate with University Advancement and Marketing to promote and fundraise for Athletics.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the cultivation, solicitation, and management of NNU Athletics corporate sponsorships.
  • Assists with the develop and implementation of game day promotions that highlight relationships with area businesses, community members, and strategic partners.
  • Assists with fundraising efforts of individual sports programs.
  • Assists in ticket sales plans & increasing revenue generation.
  • Assists with the annual NNU Athletics golf tournament, student-athlete awards banquet, Hall of Fame ceremony, and Athletics Give Day.
  • Regularly collaborates and partners with other University offices including University Advancement, Marketing, Admissions, Alumni Office, and the Office of Mission and Ministry, to coordinate and maximize opportunities to promote, brand, and fundraise for NNU Athletics.
  • Assists with reporting of information required by the NCAA and GNAC.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Acceptance into NNU’s Graduate School
  • High motivation and commitment to the University, organizational skills, the ability to self-start, be calm under pressure, meet deadlines, work without direct supervision, multi-task, problem solve, and relate to a variety of personalities under diverse circumstances
