Job Description

  • Content & Community: - Own Lingo's editorial calendar from planning and briefing through publishing and optimization. - Partner with internal creative teams, agencies, and creators to develop engaging platform-native content across video, static, story, and live formats. - Write and review social copy that reflects Lingo's brand voice and complies with legal and regulatory requirements. - Serve as the voice of Lingo in social channels, managing community engagement across comments, DMs, mentions, and conversations. - Develop programs that encourage participation, advocacy, user-generated content, and long-term community growth.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: - Collaborate closely with Influencers & Creators and Brand Partnerships teams to integrate social into broader marketing initiatives. - Share community insights, audience feedback, and emerging themes with cross-functional stakeholders. - Partner with Legal, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs to ensure content aligns with Abbott policies and industry requirements.

Requirements

  • - 4-6 years of social media and community management experience for a consumer-facing brand.
  • - Experience developing social strategies and executing content across multiple platforms.
  • - Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and channels.

  • - Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights.

Preferred

  • - Experience in health technology, wellness, consumer devices, or other regulated industries.
  • - Familiarity with influencer, creator, or partnership programs.
  • - Experience growing and engaging online communities.
  • - Experience supporting organic and paid social initiatives.
  • - Familiarity with CGM, metabolic health, wearable technology, or adjacent categories.

  • - Employees can qualify for free medical coverage in our Health Investment Plan (HIP) PPO medical plan in the next calendar year.
  • - An excellent retirement savings plan with a high employer contribution.
  • - Tuition reimbursement, the Freedom 2 Save student debt program, and FreeU education benefit - an affordable and convenient path to getting a bachelor’s degree.
  • - A company recognized as a great place to work in dozens of countries worldwide and named one of the most admired companies in the world by Fortune.
  • - A company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as the best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists.
