Freelance Social Media Coordinator/Content Creator

Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordinating weekly meetings with the doctor to go over content for the week, social media trends, trajectories etc.
• Help develop and execute a social media strategy for Instagram and TikTok
• Build the practice's social media presence from the ground up
• Brainstorm creative video concepts, recurring series, hooks, and content ideas
• Stay up to date on TikTok, Instagram Reels, trending sounds, formats, and social media trends
• Film short-form content with the doctor and office staff during scheduled content sessions
• Edit TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, and other short-form content
• Add captions, text overlays, transitions, music, and other engaging video elements
• Write captions and prepare posts for Instagram and TikTok
• Create and maintain a consistent posting schedule

Requirements

• Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, or other social media platforms
• Strong understanding of short-form video and current social media trends
• Comfortable filming and directing people on camera
• Experience editing videos using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar programs
• Creative and able to generate new content ideas consistently
• Strong written communication skills
• Comfortable writing captions, hooks, and short-form social media copy
• Organized and able to manage a consistent content calendar
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a medical office environment

Preferred

• College degree in some sort of journalism, media, or marketing!
• Previous experience managing or growing a TikTok or Instagram account
• Portfolio of Reels, TikToks, or other short-form videos
• Experience with healthcare, wellness, lifestyle, fitness, fashion, sneakers, or personal-brand content is a plus
• Basic photography or videography experience is a plus
• Knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking is preferred
