Own and publish timely finance and markets copy across daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences, maintaining a consistent voice and ensuring compliance and style adherence while crafting narratives around trend-following momentum.

Responsibilities

  • What you own
  • Turning research inputs into finished, publish-ready copy on schedule
  • Headlines and subject lines, plus the news instinct for what's worth pegging to
  • One consistent voice across all four cadences
  • Working from the style guide, and helping tighten it
  • Getting copy through compliance cleanly, without three rounds
  • The cadence: Daily : Short market note. What moved, what the system says about it, what it means for a long-term holder. Roughly 300-500 words.
  • Weekly : Week ahead or week in review. The connective tissue piece. Roughly 700 to 900 words.
  • Monthly : Deeper research piece. Still consumer-friendly, but technical. The mechanics behind a trend or momentum read. Roughly 1,200 to 1,800 words.
  • Quarterly : The flagship. Positioning, what the system did and why, what has changed. Roughly 2,000+ words.

Requirements

  • 3+ years writing professionally, with published finance or markets work. Investing media, fintech, an asset manager, a newsletter with a subscriber base.
  • A portfolio that shows you can be clear and technical at the same time
  • Fluency in markets
  • A track record of shipping on a recurring deadline
  • Comfortable being edited, and comfortable being told the call isn't yours to make

Preferred

  • Prior work inside a compliance review process
  • Familiarity with systematic, quantitative, or trend-following strategies
  • Some SEO instinct for the evergreen pieces
