Job Summary

Support electrical field service operations by assembling, testing, and maintaining equipment while following procedures, selecting materials, and coordinating with leads to enable on-site execution.

  • Field-ready assembly and testing: assist Transformer Assembly, Electrical Testing, LTCs, and oil processing.
  • Compliance and quality: follow company procedures and blueprints, maintain clearances and dimensions.
  • Operations and opportunities: prepare tools, setup layouts, and promote company capabilities for future work.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Installation, maintenance and or repair of electrical equipment following defined procedures and industry standards.
  • Receive assignments and instructions from lead and manager – both verbal and written.
  • Read, understand, and follow guidelines set forth by Company procedures and blueprints when performing assigned work.
  • Select proper materials and parts for assembly operations.
  • Setup and layout materials and tools for all assembly operations.
  • Maintain the required clearances and dimensions for the voltage classifications specified.
  • Support Field Service Technician with: Transformer Assembly, Electrical Testing, Controls, LTC’s, Oil Processing
  • Market company capabilities for future opportunities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferred

  • Manufacturing or Industrial experience
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Ability to travel 95% of the time to different job sites throughout the region. Travel by vehicle and plane.
