Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee producers to develop associated project plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables from pitch through execution
  • Oversee producers' productivity, ensure regular team meetings and manage communications between team members, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Collaborate with agency executives to align production strategies with overall business goals
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the production team
  • Participate in the new business efforts and support creative team by suggesting best execution methods for all creative concepts
  • Collaborate with other departments to create project workflows and agency processes.
  • Collaborate with the client service team to identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the client portfolio.
  • Keep Production team organized and ensure they are utilizing proper documentation for client deliverables and communication (budgets, inventory tracking, creative deliverables worksheets, etc)
  • As required, Lead larger scale, complex projects managing a team of producers within the project. Budgets scaling $3m++
  • Work closely with the finance department to monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and develop crucial municipality relationships necessary for program success and identify new partnership opportunities and strategic alliances that support growth objectives
  • Oversee creation and implementation contingency plans in case of unforeseen delays or issues.
  • Collaborate with Lead Producer to develop and communicate emergency response protocols
  • Ensure the production team is adhering to local regulations and safety standards and obtaining all necessary permits and engineering.
  • Oversee the load in and strike of event infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with the approved plan and communicate status to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure Production Lead is aware of post-program wrap timeline for reporting and budget reconciliation. Work with Finance to ensure proper billing and payment for services rendered and all program expenses match final client budget
  • Present innovative ideas and technologies to the production team which can be implemented into campaigns to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in event production of all sizes
  • 5 years minimum event/experiential marketing experience
  • Excellent project management, team management and organizational skills
  • Excellent budgeting skills and strong proficiency in microsoft office/ google sheets
  • Clear written and oral communication
  • Must be detail oriented and able to simultaneously manage projects
  • Willing to travel up to 25%
