Job Summary

Own and drive brand storytelling and creative direction across channels, shaping visual identity, voice, and culture-driven campaigns with a focus on product storytelling and digital experiences.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Set and own the creative Vision: Define and lead the creative direction across brand, product, retail, and digital to ensure a cohesive and inspiring consumer experience.
  • Build and Inspire: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing creative team—instilling a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and bold creative thinking.
  • Lead the Work: Partner closely with the key Marketing & Channel Leaders - VP Integrated Marketing, VP Brand Partnerships & Activations (inclusive of retail & community), VP Brand Experience - to bring creative excellence and consistency to every brand & partner moment.
  • Lead the brand’s overall visual and voice: Defining the brand’s visual identity and voice in market.
  • Storytelling & Campaigns: Own brand storytelling—from seasonal campaigns and product launches to athlete, influencer, and community narratives.
  • Champion the Consumer: Collaborate with the Consumer Insights team to deeply understand who our consumer is, what inspires them, and how they engage with the brand—translating these insights into creative that feels personal, relevant, and aspirational.
  • Product Storytelling: Partner with merchandising, design, and product marketing to translate product truths into emotionally resonant creative concepts.
  • Elevate the Aesthetic: Partner with the Design team to ensure the brand aesthetic, color, and style direction are cohesive across product and storytelling—building a unified visual language that connects what we make to how we show up in the world.
  • Cultural Relevance: Identify emerging cultural trends, voices, and visual directions that can authentically amplify the brand’s presence in culture.
  • Digital Experience: Oversee creative for all digital platforms including UX/UI, web, email, and social; ensure work is both brand-right and performance-driven.
  • Creative Standards: Ensure every piece of creative output—no matter the channel—meets a world-class standard of craft, clarity, and originality.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience (minimum 5 years in the apparel, lifestyle, or fashion industry)
  • Proven track record developing iconic, culture-driving creative that builds brand heat and business growth
  • Deep understanding of digital-first storytelling and how to translate brand identity across platforms
  • Strong collaborator, comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, founder-led environment
  • Experience building and scaling creative teams within high-growth, entrepreneurial organizations
  • Strategic thinker with a craftsman’s eye—able to balance brand magic and commercial impact
  • Confident presenter and creative evangelist who can articulate vision, inspire others, and bring ideas to market with speed and excellence
