Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Recor’s conference strategy and priorities in partnership with Marketing and Sales
  • Coordinate execution of conferences, including exhibits, meetings, presentations, promotions, etc.
  • Build relationship with key contacts of different society conferences on behalf of Recor
  • Plan and execute corporate-sponsored events, medical education programs and departmental on-site meetings, delivered on time and on budget
  • Support regional and local conference events for the U.S. commercial team, including providing demonstration materials as needed
  • Communicate event-related information, including running planning meetings, delivering update emails, drafting post-conference reports, sending invitations, building registration processes, etc.
  • Stay up to date on the latest advancements in event planning and exhibiting, establish best practices, and bring new ideas forward for consideration
  • Ensure all documentation of event participants (HCP) is complete and accurate, aligned with Legal and Compliance and properly documented in the appropriate software or platform
  • Oversee marketing material approval process, including managing project intake, running review calls with functional representatives, tracking and reporting project status, and driving materials through the review process to approval
  • Manage deployment and life cycle of marketing materials through marketing operations management platform to ensure commercial team is using approved and up-to-date materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or other relevant industry
  • 5+ years of experience in conference and events management
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing operations or marketing process management
  • 2+ years of budget management experience
  • Proven track record in planning and executing multiple annual conferences/trade shows and corporate meetings
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent budget management skills
  • Ability to leverage and manage external vendors to drive project execution
  • Excellent attention to detail

Preferred

  • Downstream marketing experience
  • Knowledge and experience in the interventional cardiology field
  • Direct-to-patient marketing communications experience
  • Production and agency management experience
