Entry Level Marketing and Communications Assistant

Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with customers and clients during marketing campaigns, promotional events, and outreach initiatives
• Present accurate information about represented products, services, promotions, and client campaigns
• Support the preparation and execution of local marketing and communications strategies
• Build positive customer relationships through professional, friendly, and consistent communication
• Assist with event preparation, promotional materials, campaign coordination, and on-site activities
• Respond to customer questions and help connect individuals with appropriate products or services
• Maintain organized records of customer interactions, campaign activity, appointments, and follow-up communication
• Collaborate with team members to improve customer engagement, campaign messaging, and overall performance
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and campaign development activities

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be available to work full-time and on-site in West Chicago
• Have reliable transportation for commuting to the office and assigned work locations
• Demonstrate strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Maintain a professional, positive, and dependable attitude
• Be organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities
• Feel comfortable speaking with customers, clients, and members of the public
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Be willing to learn new communication, marketing, and customer engagement techniques
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, events, communications, marketing, promotions, or sales may be helpful but is not required
