Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the organization-wide email and SMS communications calendar to ensure coordinated, well-timed supporter communications across campaigns.
  • Partner with internal teams to intake briefs and plan, build, and execute email and SMS communications.
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of email and SMS campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Mailchimp, including audience segmentation, journey builds, testing, and deployment.
  • Build and manage automated supporter journeys and workflows using marketing automation tools to support onboarding, engagement, and retention across the support lifecycle.
  • Implement personalization strategies using dynamic content, behavioral triggers, and supporter data to deliver relevant and engaging communications.
  • Provide strategic guidance on audience targeting, segmentation, and messaging to improve engagement and campaign effectiveness.
  • Ensure communications follow industry best practices and are optimized for deliverability, engagement, and performance.
  • Maintain the health and performance of FH’s email and SMS platforms, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and optimize key performance metrics including deliverability, spam rates, unsubscribe rates, open rates, click-through rates, and overall engagement.
  • Implement ongoing optimization strategies including A/B testing, subject line testing, send-time optimization, content experimentation.
  • Leverage customer data and behavioral insights to improve audience segmentation and enable more personalized supporter communications.
  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards to track email performance, engagement, and marketing automation effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and data teams to ensure accurate data synchronization, segmentation, and campaign tracking between Salesforce and marketing automation platforms.
  • Manage email and SMS preference center and unsubscribe processes to ensure compliance and a positive supporter experience.
  • Manage relationships with external email and SMS vendors and consultants to support platform improvements and initiatives.
  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of lead cultivation and conversion journeys designed to convert prospects into investors.
  • Lead cross-functional conversion initiatives from concept through execution and performance measurement.
  • Partner with campaigns and sales teams to improve lead quality and optimize conversion across the supporter funnel.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop high-performing marketing content and messaging aligning investor motivations with FH opportunities.
  • Monitor funnel performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, donor value, and cost-to-acquire lead to ensure proper phrasing.
