Job Summary

Drive lifecycle marketing across email and SMS with data-driven segmentation and direct-response copy.

  • Own automated lifecycle flows and high-impact messaging across channels.
  • Must-have: 5–8+ years in Email/CRM with Klaviyo, Liquid, and predictive analytics.
  • Standout: Direct-response chops plus weekly in-person collaboration in Sacramento.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Architect the Journey: Map and build automated lifecycle flows that feel like a personal 1-on-1 conversation—from the first "Welcome" to the 50th "Win-back."
  • Write the Narrative: Draft compelling, high-converting direct response copy. You understand that a plain-text email with a "world-class hook" often beats a flashy HTML design every time.
  • Master the Segments: Use Shopify data to slice and dice our audience, ensuring the right message hits the right inbox at exactly the right moment.
  • Own the SMS Strategy: Treat SMS as a VIP channel—using it for time-sensitive, high-impact alerts while maintaining strict compliance and "Quiet Hours."
  • Test & Optimize: Run relentless A/B tests. You don’t just "guess" what works; you audit the data, diagnose the friction points (like a 2% abandoned cart rate), and fix them.
  • Collaborate: Partner with our Core Blog team and Product designers to ensure our digital presence is as seamless as our equipment.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ Years of Experience: You’ve spent at least half a decade in the weeds of Email, Lifecycle, or CRM marketing.
  • Klaviyo Expert Status: On a scale of 1–10, you’re an 8+. You know your way around Liquid Logic, predictive analytics, and complex branching.
  • Direct Response Chops: You know how to open a "knowledge gap" in a subject line to drive clicks without relying on "Sale!" or clickbait.
  • The "Gemba" Mindset: You enjoy being close to the action. You’re excited to be in our Sacramento office once a week to collaborate with the team.
  • Technical Literacy: You’re comfortable with Shopify, GA4, and the technical syncs that keep a global ecommerce engine running.
  • Business-Owner Mindset: You care about revenue attribution and LTV, not just open rates.

Benefits

  • Global Impact: Work for the brand that defined the modern Pilates industry.
  • Stability: We’ve been leading the market for 50 years and continue to grow.
  • Creative Freedom: We value the written word and the science behind the click.
  • Local Community: Be a part of a Sacramento-based team that values cross-functional "real talk" and professional tenure.
