Position Overview

At Pepper, we’re building a thoughtful, design-forward home brand—and our digital experience is central to that vision. We’re looking for an Ecommerce Manager to lead both the analytics and product development of our site end-to-end, owning how we measure, build, and continuously improve the customer experience. This role is ideal for someone with a strong product and data background who is ready to own the full site experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Own the end-to-end ecommerce experience, including product development, site roadmap, and ongoing optimization
  2. Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements and partner with engineering and design team to execute
  3. Lead site-wide analytics, including KPI definition, dashboarding, and performance analysis
  4. Drive A/B testing and experimentation across key site flows to improve conversion, engagement, and revenue
  5. Analyze the customer journey to identify friction points and inform product and UX improvements
  6. Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and Product Development, and report regularly to the COO on performance, insights, and priorities

Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in ecommerce, product management, or digital analytics, ideally within a DTC or consumer brand
  2. Strong product management experience, with the ability to define requirements and work closely with engineering teams
  3. Highly data-driven, with hands-on experience in Google Analytics, Looker, or similar tools
  4. Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization strategies
  5. Strong cross-functional collaborator with the ability to connect site performance to broader business goals
  6. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a high level of ownership and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

Additional Details:

  1. Full-time, hybrid position in NYC
  2. Hybrid schedule: 3 in-office days per week
  3. Salary range:  $95,000-$125,000 (based on experience and skillset)
  4. Benefits package: health benefits, paid parental leave, generous PTO, and employee discounts
  5. Opportunities for professional development and career advancement within the company
  6. Fun, fast-paced and collaborative work environment
