Responsibilities

• Distribute door hangers: Place SPG Plumbing advertising materials neatly and securely on residential doors along your assigned routes.
• Follow neighborhood routes: Work through designated areas carefully, keeping track of where you have been to avoid missed streets or duplicate distribution.
• Spend most of your shift walking: Travel on foot between homes during an eight-hour workday, with scheduled breaks.
• Handle materials responsibly: Keep door hangers organized and protect them from damage during distribution.
• Track your progress: Provide clear updates on completed streets, unfinished areas, and any access issues.
• Respect residents and property: Use appropriate walkways, follow posted restrictions, and leave properties as you found them.
• Follow placement instructions: Keep materials out of mailboxes and avoid locations where distribution is prohibited.
• Communicate with your supervisor: Report route questions, unsafe conditions, severe weather, or other issues that affect your work.
• Represent SPG Plumbing professionally: Be courteous and respectful if a resident approaches you.

Requirements

• Dependability: Arrive on time and follow through on assigned work.
• Comfort with outdoor work: Be prepared for walking routes and changing outdoor conditions.
• Ability to perform the essential duties: Walk for extended periods, navigate residential sidewalks and steps, and carry door-hanger materials, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Attention to detail: Follow route boundaries, placement instructions, and property restrictions.
• Independent work habits: Stay organized and productive while completing assigned routes.
• Clear communication: Provide accurate updates and ask questions when instructions are unclear.
• Professional conduct: Treat homeowners, coworkers, and neighborhood property with respect.
• No previous plumbing experience is required.
• Plumbing experience is not required, but previous experience distributing flyers, delivering materials, walking routes, or performing outdoor work is welcome.
• Reliability, care, and willingness to follow instructions are central to this position.
