Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Zellis's overall marketing strategy—covering digital campaigns, brand positioning, content, and public relations—to drive brand awareness and lead generation across the portfolio.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, setting clear expectations and building a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with leasing, operations, and property teams to align marketing campaigns with occupancy, renewal, and revenue goals at the property level.
• Analyze market data, competitive positioning, and customer insights to refine marketing strategy and improve return on marketing investment.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including digital content, paid advertising, social media, and promotional events.
• Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and accurate tracking of spend and results.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns through metrics and analytics, reporting results and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Oversee digital presence across ILS platforms, the Zellis website, and social channels, ensuring listings and messaging are accurate and on-brand.
• Direct SEO, SEM, and content marketing efforts to strengthen Zellis's visibility and lead quality across every market.
• Manage relationships with outside agencies, vendors, and media partners supporting marketing initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
• At least 7 years of progressive marketing experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in real estate, rental, or property management marketing required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common marketing/analytics platforms required.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, marketing automation, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and content marketing strategies specific to real estate or multifamily housing.
• Proficiency in marketing automation software, data visualization tools, and social media platforms.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing advertising requirements and industry compliance standards.

Preferred

• Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
